Dr Parvender Sheoran, Director of ICAR-ATARI, Ludhiana, visited the Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Bathinda, where he engaged with 80 participants at an Ex-trainee Sammelan. The event showcased the KVK's progress and future plans under the leadership of Dr Gurdeep Singh, Deputy Director (Training), and Dr APS Dhaliwal, who presented a detailed action plan.

Dr Sheoran lauded the KVK's efforts in promoting agricultural technologies among farmers, emphasizing their vital role in enhancing productivity. He personally inspected various demonstration units, including the polyhouse, dairy, poultry, beekeeping, azolla, and vermicomposting units. Additionally, he visited the home science lab and plant clinic, acknowledging the KVK's holistic approach to agricultural development.

The Director's visit served as a significant encouragement to the KVK team, who were commended for their dedication and hard work. Dr Sheoran's words of appreciation reinforced the Kendra's commitment to supporting farmers and improving rural livelihoods through innovative agricultural practices.
