Er Jatinder Kaur, a Ph.D. student from the Department of Soil and Water Engineering, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been awarded the INSPIRE fellowship by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi, for a period of five-years. She has completed her B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) and M.Tech (Soil and Water Engineering) from the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, PAU. She is pursuing her Ph.D. on the research topic “Development of Digital Twin to Optimize Resource Consumption and Lettuce Production under Controlled Environment” under the guidance of Dr Rakesh Sharda, Major Advisor, Project Coordinator, ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana.
